These are all lovely ideas and the same reason I started my businesses, as I think so much of pregnancy these days focuses on the medical side of pregnancy – weights, dates, measurements, diet – that it’s easy to forget it’s an amazing miracle and just a magical time for mum and baby to bond.

If it’s not too naughty to plug, here are some of my high definition pregnant belly casts in everything from real copper to leather… http://www.rockabelly.co.uk/galleryhighdefbelly.html – High definition casting is different to the type of casting kits you can buy in shops and on ebay and is best done by a professional. However, you can get lovely results too with the low definition casting kits you mention, and I have another gallery which shows how fun they can be to decorate.

Has Scooby ever tried Nature’s Menu chicken treats? (I have got absolutely nothing to do with this company other than being a good customer!) Scooby is obviously a little dog with a big personality and and I love the idea of him being introduced to a treat that my Havanese dogs ( similar size) absolutely adore. You can’t buy them in supermarkets but pet shops have them and they are available on-line. They’re small and soft and must be full of flavour considering the way my dogs react when I hold the packet up.

I’m 42 and a mum of a 4 yr old and starting doing the school run in Sept this year… I use Bare Minerals but really would like to try Sheer Cover as you look fab in it…. I come a broken home. My father is presently with wife number 3 and I have a 9 year old sister, where the age gap between her and my immediate younger sister is 20yrs. My mother was wife number 2. And she had 3 of us girls. I’ve always known my parents to argue and fight. And I’ve also known my parents to be the gooey love mushy kind as well. Has that stopped me from wanting to get married? Initially it did, but after a long while of bad relationships, I took a long break to try and re-discover myself mentally physically and most especially spiritually. As a christian woman, I have also come to realise that divorce has never been God’s intention for marriages. Some women think or believe that, maybe they were meant NOT to be married, and I tell them that that is a huge lie! From the beginning, looking at texts from the bible, God made a helper for man, which is women. And how did he do it, he took out a rib from man to create a woman. And it goes on stating how adam proclaimed woman to be the reason a man shall leave his parents to cleave to a woman. Long and short, I still believe in the institution of marriage. Though that of my parents didn’t work out, it won’t stop me from believing and knowing that my husband is out there looking for his missing rib, and I pray that when married it will be a time to grow together and rough it out through tough times, and still come out stronger and better than before.

My advice is to let family and friends know that you are really wanting to go in to the new year feeling healthier and not carrying extra pounds so please no sweets or chocolates as gifts Alternatively residential homes for the elderly would welcome any surplus sweets and treats these could be left in the communal living rooms for residents,visitors and staff
