The newly opened Anthropology on the Kings Road was the venue for a book launch this week. The name says it all and now someone has been brave enough to put it in the title of a new childcare book! It was a fabulous location and delicious food, all handed out by the authors’ children who were sneaking the odd brownie or millionaires shortbread as they dodged between the crowds!

Sibling Rivalry by Georgia Coleridge and Karen Doherty – (available from Amazon) gives seven simple solutions to helping you, as a parent, sort sibling rivalry.
Who knows if it’s totally curable? I know from my own childhood with my sister, we even used to have a ‘tan competition’ on holiday, as to ‘who got the brownest’ – sort of tragic and pointless, as she always has and always will have skin that goes brown at the first glimpse of sun. But, hey ho, there it is. Even now, I know we sort of compare tans at the end of the summer!
Maybe it’s healthy? This book is a good read and a good gift for parents – bedtime reading on how to deal with everything from sorting situations to holiday rows! I reckon anything that gives bits of advice, or makes you feel you are not alone in any childcare issues, is worth a read.
